DSSI Team Expert: Thomas Talamantez

I have worked in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) since 1996 specializing in various aspects of ECM. My strengths are in developing an ECM strategy, implementing electronic records and retention programs, developing Imaging workflow and analyzing and benchmarking Business Process Improvement (BPI). Over the course of my career, I have worked in Records Archiving, Imaging, Software, Hosting, and Storage. Before entering the world of ECM, I did Risk Management for six years in the banking industry.

Prior to joining DSSI, I owned and operated my own company doing ECM and imaging services for 7 years. I strongly believe that we are in a relationship business and clients who rely on us today will also need us tomorrow. It is why my personal goal is to always try and find the right solution to meet our clients’ needs now and as they grow. There is nothing more gratifying than solving real-world problems and having customers thank you for helping them, which is what we try and do with every engagement.

I am active in AIIM, ARMA and AITP and I have spoken on various ECM topics for groups such as AIIM, ARMA, PRISM and AITP among others. I serve on the AIIM International Board of Directors and in the past have served on chapter boards for both AIIM and ARMA as well as the Kodak Advisory Council on ECM. Our industry has changed since I first started and it will continue to change as new technology emerges and new requirements are legislated. Because of this dynamic, myself and the rest of the team at DSSI are fully committed to staying ahead of the curve, so that we can offer the best, and most cost-effective solutions to help our clients.

DSSI Team Expert: Sean Hale

I have been working for DSSI since 1999. These many years of experience in the document imaging field have helped me immeasurably in my role as Director of Operations. My interaction with each client is vital to the imaging process, from coordinating each phase all the way to project completion. Through years of working closely with clients and identifying how each client uses their documents and then determining how we can make that process easier and more efficient through scanning and indexing, I have been able to customize just the right process for each client. This is definitely the most interesting and gratifying part of my job.

As Director of Operations, I am able to ensure our clients’ satisfaction beyond the delivery of their scanned documents. Our IT staff is highly skilled at providing any necessary support to our clients, including phone support, onsite support and Professional Services to ensure that the product we deliver is implemented and configured in the best way for them.

DSSI Team Expert: Lisa Watson-Bell

I have been working at DSSI since 1998. In that time, I have had the unique opportunity to observe the changes and innovations that have taken place in the document imaging industry through the years. Throughout all of these changes, our main goal has always remained constant; provide our customers with the highest quality product possible.

In my current position as Production Manager, I am proud to make my top priority maintaining the high quality product and support that our clients have come to expect from DSSI. Because I worked my way up through DSSI’s Production Department, I have a unique insight and understanding into all of the different processes involved in the document imaging process. I have been able to leverage that experience by analyzing and adapting new technologies and techniques to ensure that our clients are receiving a product that is consistently excellent.

DSSI Team Expert: Joe Henning

I have been happily working for DSSI since 2005. My duties include internal network administration and software installations, ECM software implementations, cloud deployments and Help Desk Support for our products.

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is Help Desk Support because that is where I can turn around a frustrating problem and resolve it for our clients. I have many years of experience to draw from and can assess and rectify most issues remotely in a concise and timely fashion. I have forged many good relationships with our clients and they know that if they have questions they can reach out to our team for guidance - 24/7.
